A Cedar Point of water points could be coming to Niagara Falls if one developer gets his way.

Michael DiCienzo presented the $70 million plans to the Niagara Falls council, that will create 165 jobs and $6.5 million in tax revenue annually, according to WIVB.

DiCienzo tells WIVB there are several dare devil slides planned, calling it a "Cedar Point of water parks."

The thrill park and luxury hotel would be across from the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino on the American side of the falls. But it would need state grants, that have previously been denied, to complete.

There are several indoor water parks already in the state of New York. Cascades indoor water park in Cortland, New York. Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George. Palm Island indoor water park in Batavia and Big Splash in Highland, New York.
