April 15, 2013 14 year old Alyssa Clayton of Utica could be the next 'American Idol.' She won a golden ticket during auditions in Florida last week. This morning she stopped by the studio to talk about her experience and sing a little of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb,' the song that won her that special ticket.
April 15, 2013 The National Geographic Channel's 6-part salute to the 1980's, "The 80's:The Decade That Made Us" debuts tonight with the first two episodes, "The Revolutionaries" at 8 and "Shop Til You Drop" at 9. April 15, 2013 'Saturday Night Live' did a sketch this weekend about the controversy over Brad Paisley's 'Accidental Racist.' Kenan Thompson played LL Cool J and Jason Sudeikis played Brad Paisley. They came on 'Weekend Update' to announce racism was cured. They said they had started a conversation. As in, LL tells Brad not to follow him around a store, and Brad tells LL not to talk while they're watching a movie.
April 12, 2013 For the first time in 'American Idol' history, the top 5 are all women after Lazaro Arbos was eliminated. It came down to Lazaro and Amber Holcomb in the bottom two. Lazaro at the bottom was no surprise, but I'm sure Amber being there shocked some. She was saved, leaving Lazaro to sing for his safety. The judges didn't use their save, sending the last guy home.

April 10, 2013 The blind auditions are over on 'The Voice.' Blake Shelton was the first to fill his team with Jacqui Sandell, who won him over with Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams.' But he had to fight Usher to get her.
April 10, 2013 LINDSAY LOHAN was on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' and she told Dave she's finally hitting rehab on May 2nd. Dave wasn't easy on her. He asked her straight up, 'Aren't you supposed to be in rehab now?' And Lindsay replied, 'Don't you watch anything that goes on? What are you a tabloid now?'
Just over a week ago brought the tragic news that 21-year-old 'Buckwild' star Shain Gandee died of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, along with his uncle and a friend in rural West Virginia. Following the tragedy, MTV postponed a decision on 'Buckwild's' second season, but now it seems the network has officially decided to halt production on the Appalachian reality series.
Season 1 and Season 10 'American Idol' winners Kelly Clarkson and Scotty McCreery will perform on the stage where it all started once again. Thursday (April 11) is the results episode for the Top 6 of Season 12, and two of the show's biggest and most successful winners will teach the last half-dozen hopefuls how it's done.
