We're just days away from FrogFest with headliner Justin Moore. He'll take the stage at the Herkimer County fairgrounds Saturday at 6:30pm. I had the opportunity to take to Justin, who's career has taken a turn since the release of his new hit 'Point at You.'

He's excited to play some new music for the crowd and his new single 'Thank a Farmer;' a song that has special meaning. 'This song talks about so much. Just everything that the farmers do. From the shoes on our feet to the clothes on our back and the food on the table. I can't wait to do that song live there. We're inviting everybody. I’m looking forward to this. This year's Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo is adding a new wrinkle. A mechanical bull! Joel's Frontyard Steakhouse in Verona is sponsoring the mechanical bull that you will have the "opportunity" to ride and show off your rodeo bona fides. Before you decide that this will be a real good idea check out the instructional video and then a clip from the movie that first popularized mechanical bull riding, "Urban Cowboy".
It was a grand prize drawing so big it took both Matt in the Morning and Greg Splashin' McShea to conduct it. In the end, Jessica Smithers of Rome won the Swifty's Restaurant and Pub V-I-P Bus to Wild West FrogFest and Rodeo June 15 at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. James Wesley doesn't play service departments very often these days but when a sudden rainfall prevented him from playing a promotional show outside of a Dodge dealership in Oxford, Pennsylvania recently he insisted "the show must go on". So our Wild West Frogfest special guest took it inside the dealerships garage for a one-of-a-kind performance.
