Teenagers Sticking With Facebook Despite Complaints

Teenagers are actively voicing their displeasure with Facebook but however much they find it distasteful they are still logging on in increasing numbers. A new report from the Pew Interest Group found that while teens are more and more often using other social network sites such as Twitter and Instagram they are still bound to Facebook. Whenever I check my Facebook page I notice that the entries are pretty predictable. My younger "friends" post party pictures and updates on their social life. Parents with young kids post a lot of pictures of the children while my older friends post comments on the weather or their travels.A study by Stephen Wolfram found that Facebook topics do change with age. There have been two occasions recently where I have witnessed a tractor trailer lumbering up my street, a dead end with a very limited turnaround. When I questioned the drivers as they began backing down the street they said "I was just following my GPS and it said Walmart was up here". Nope, it's one street over. He is not alone.
