It's not unusual to see a quail hunter, shotgun in hand, bag a bird or two or three. But how about a hunter who brings down a quail with his bare hands! Pastor Matt Carter of the Austin Stone Community Church was hunting with NFL quarterback Colt McCoy when a quail inexplicably flew directly at him. Check the quick reaction and, yes, it is a real-not doctored-video.
If you're a golf fan who enjoys watching the pro's make incredible shots that defy the imagination you were probably watching the Player's Championship yesterday when two of the best, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood, hit--or didn't hit--shots that looked more like ones that Polliwog or I would hit. We hear a lot of stories about spoiled athletes dissing fans and exhibiting crude and uncivil behavior. What he did next is truly amazing.

Golf season is here, and many of you are out on the links on weekends or during an after-work golf league. As for me, I'm left-handed and haven't improved at the game since I was 15! But there is hope for you with a little help from a golf pro.
From time to time, at Big Frog 104, we feature 7th inning stretch songs at Major League Baseball parks. While most often, the sing-along song is "Take Me Out To The Ballgame", many teams have their own version. And you'll never guess what the Baltimore Orioles fans sing along with during their stretch (unless you've been to Camden Yards). Check this out.
Boston continues to remember those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. Jeff Bauman survived the attack but lost both his legs in the blast. He was the honorary flag banner captain at the Boston Bruins game. Bauman may lost both his legs, but he didn't lose his spirit. Watch him lead the crowd, by waving the flag as the audience passed around a giant Bruins flag of their own.
Mother Nature has certainly been kind to Utica-Rome Speedway race fans so far this season and last night was no exception. It was a great night for racing and Todd Burley took advantage of the perfect conditions to take the checkered flag in the Modified Feature. Heath Carney captured the Sportsman event, Ed Ostrander the Pro Stocks and Ricky Breed another Pure Stocks win. Check out the complete results.
