How to keep your cat our of the Christmas tree, that is the question? Smokey isn't interested so much in the tree,as the ornaments that hang from it.  We brought the tree in Sunday and let the snow melt off it before we started to decorate.  The cat had no interest in the bare tree; until the lights and ornaments went up.  Now we can't keep him out of it.  Hanging the ornaments higher doesn't seem to work. He just jumps higher.
