Whenever I check my Facebook page I notice that the entries are pretty predictable. My younger "friends" post party pictures and updates on their social life. Parents with young kids post a lot of pictures of the children while my older friends post comments on the weather or their travels.A study by Stephen Wolfram found that Facebook topics do change with age. See if these age/topic correlations relate to you.

Moving Your College Students Out Of The Dorm

If you're parents of college students, you may be moving them out of the dorm at the end of the spring semester in the next couple of weekends. I've done the drill many times, and there are two things that always seem to happen: 1. you can't find a parking place closer than 300 yards from the dorm and 2. the dorm elevator is out of service. A new survey by the Marchex Institute finds that when it comes to cussing the folks in Ohio have every right to shout "We're number one, we're number one". On the other hand people in the state of Washington are most likely to watch their language. There were some other interesting findings.

Apparently "twerking' is a highly suggestive dance move that has swept through high school dances and parties across the country. Now a group of San Diego, California students have been suspended for producing and posting a video of themselves "twerking" with abandon. Even worse, suspension is just the first of the punishments they are receiving.
