Residents of Lake Placid are starting to worry about the fact, USA Luge CEO Jim Leahy, will soon address a board of directors as to whether or not he feels the Olympic training facility in the Adirondacks should remain the team's headquarters. That has been the central spot for all things Luge since it's opening in 1932.

Snow and frigid temperatures didn't stop hundreds of Central New Yorkers from lining the streets to welcome home Olympic champion Erin Hamlin. I think every firetruck in the county escorted Hamlin on her parade route. We were privileged enough to be in the parade to experience a hometown heroes welcome.

The Canadian women's hockey team pulled off what you could call a miracle in the Gold Medal game to earn a fourth consecutive gold. The final 3-2 in overtime after the American women had all but won it.

Team USA will face off against Team Canada in a men's hockey semifinal on Friday.
