Yahoo Sports reports that the 7-foot sophomore who averaged over 7 points per game and led the Big East in blocked shots has long harbored dreams of joining the pro ranks.
There will be an added entertainment option at Syracuse's Destiny USA expansion of Carousel Center. Syracuse.com reports that Regal Cinemas will be building two state-of-the-art movie theaters including an IMAX screen on the third level of the Destiny USA/Carousel Center expansion. The theaters as well as other outlets are expected to open later this spring and will add luster to what will be an entertainment mecca.
Montgomery Gentry fans rejoice! The Syracuse show we told you last week was cancelled, is back on. There weren't many details as to why the show was axed and there still aren't. According to Montgomery Gentry's website the show is a go.

To some people the mild winter of 2011-12 is a blessing but to snowmobile enthusiasts and those whose businesses depend on them it had been a nightmare. In a report filed by WKTV.com the head of the New York State Snowmobile Association, Gary Broderick, said that the lack of snow has had an economic ripple effect.

Apparently there is some ice in the middle of the pond but not enough along the shoreline to provide safe conditions for spectators. The news isn't all bad however.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown has announced a change of dates for its popular "Hall of Fame" classic game. The game, part of the annual "Hall of Fame Classic Weekend", will be held June 16 the day before Father's Day. The game had previously been held on Father's Day itself but, according to Hall of Fame president Jeff Idelson, the change was made to be more accommodating to fans.

Zach Borst wrote, produced and assembled the 'Happy Grad' ad about a graduate getting a Chevrolet Camaro as a gift. When you see it, you'll realize why Chevy picked it to air in the upcoming Super Bowl to an audience of 110 million people.
