Good news and bad news for local country music fans. The bad news, according to the Daily Star,  is that Tanya Tucker has postponed her December 9 show at the Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta. Citing health concerns the show has been rescheduled for August 17, 2013. The good news is that country legend Mel Tillis is slated to appear at the venue December 21.

Keith Hernandez is known for two things. First and foremost as a star  first baseman for the New York Mets from 1983 to 1989. Secondly as having one of the best mustaches in all of sports. According to CBS, Hernandez had his famed "tickler" lopped off for charity, specifically the Jacqueline Hernandez Adult Day Health Center in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, named for Keith’s mother. The rain didn't put a damper on the Darius Rucker show at Brewery Ommegang.   Dotti Spina, who goes to almost every country concert in the area, shared pictures from the concert Saturday night.  Dotti was there early to get front row seats and got some great shots.  Her favorite part of the night was 'a totally stripped down version of his Hootie song, "Let her Cry".'

A suburban Syracuse man, Edwin Bobbette Jr of Fabius, won $1 million dollars in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery with a ticket purchased on August 21 in Pompey. According to YNN Bobbette correctly picked 5 winning numbers but not the Mega Ball for $250,000. However, since he chose the muliplier option his winnings rose to a cool $1 million. His plans for the windfall?
