The father and son team of Will and Jaden Smith star in the science-fiction epic "After Earth" hitting local theaters today. The movie pastes a pretty dismal picture of a post-apocalyptic planet earth where team Smith find themselves after a crash landing. Also debuting is "Now You See It" a film about a group of illusionists out to rip off corrupt businessmen. Check out the trailers and local show times.

A strong line of storms moved through Central New York this afternoon (May 29). The Syracuse area took a particularly hard hit from the storm including the city and village of East Syracuse. The storms then moved through Utica and New Hartford. We've got images of the aftermath in CNY.
