A suburban Syracuse man, Edwin Bobbette Jr of Fabius, won $1 million dollars in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery with a ticket purchased on August 21 in Pompey. According to YNN Bobbette correctly picked 5 winning numbers but not the Mega Ball for $250,000. However, since he chose the muliplier option his winnings rose to a cool $1 million. There was no Powerball jackpot winner in last nights drawing so Wednesday the jackpot will be at least $212 million. This was the 12th consecutive week without a big winner. There were, however, several runner-ups who fared quite nicely.

The new video game releases for July 2012 has very little to get excited about. One interesting note is that while there’s not a single new Vita game coming out there are plenty for the 3DS.
