After a week filled with off-the-field controversies, the NFL focused on football on Sunday. Upsets, injuries and amazing comebacks became the biggest storylines of Week 2. Here's a recap of this week's action:
Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child by a Montgomery County, Texas grand jury. The case stems from an incident where Peterson used a switch to discipline the child involved.
Philadelphia Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy signed a $45 million contract extension back in 2012. Having said that, I find it hard to believe that the 26-year-old All Pro back is hard up for cash. Than why is it that he only left a $0.20 tip on a bill worth $61.56? Beats me!
Pittsburgh Steeler Antonia Brown ran back a kick in the opening game of the NFL season for a touchdown. During the run, he drop kicked the punter and it's been made into a Karate Kid parody that'll make you laugh whether you watch football or not.
