‘Cute Kid’ of the Day: Five-Year-Old With Leukemia’s ‘Make A Wish’ Dream Is to Help at a Soup Kitchen

Our 'Cute Kid' of the day is five-year-old Leland Camara who suffers from Leukemia. He’s had some tough days since he was diagnosed in September, but he also realizes others have gone out of their way to make his time more joyful as he battles the disease. For example, last winter his hometown fire department in Anchorage, Alaska sent Santa Claus over to his house so he could enjoy a proper Christmas.

So when Leland got hooked up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, he asked for two wishes.

‘Cute Kid’ of the Day: Jessica Sanchez on America’s Got Talent at Age 11 [VIDEO]

'American Idol' isn't the first reality show Jessica Sanchez has been on.  At age 11, she appeared on the first season of 'America's Got Talent.' Despite a successful audition with Celine Dion's 'I Surrender,' she wasn't chosen to be in the semi finals. Say what?!  So we'll choose her to be our 'Cute Kid' of the day, even though she's not a kid anyone.

Fast forward six years, Jessica is now in the Top 5 of American Idol and is a favorite to win.  Check her out at age 11.  How she didn't make it through then, is anyone's guess.

‘Cute Kid’ of the Day sings ‘Baby Girl’ With Sugarland

Our 'Cute Kid' of the day is an aspiring country singer who is getting some big name support.  11 year old Alana Springsteen has been working with Kristian Bush of Sugarland to score a record deal in Nashville.  She may not have a deal yet, but she's already being put in the spotlight.  During a recent Sugarland show, Bush called Alana on stage to help sing the song that got everything started for the band, 'Baby Girl.'

‘Cute Kid’ of the Day Pitches Perfect Game

Our 'Cute Kid' of the day, Andrea Chiaradio, of Stonington High School in Connecticut, pitched a perfect game by striking out every single batter she faced — 21 of them over the course of the seven-inning game.

Chiaradio was so dominant, in fact, the opposing team didn’t even hit a foul ball. That’s right — they never made contact with any of her pitches.

Despite being born with no hands, our 'Cute Kid' of the day, Annie Clark is a pretty normal kid. She dresses herself, drinks soda from a can she opens, types on her computer and hopes to one day write a book about animals. Oh, and the seven-year-old just won a trophy and $1,000 in a national penmanship competition.

‘Cute Kid’ of the Day Slowly Realizes She’s About to Become a Big Sister

There are few moments in a parent’s life more joyous than watching their child realize they’re about to become an older brother or sister.

Our 'Cute Kid' of the day got to experience just such a moment when her parents tried to tell her that someone else would be moving in with them down the road. They also came up with a rather novel way of telling her. Rather than just blurt out the news, they gave her a T-shirt that read “I’m the Big Sister.”
