With his fuel gauge heading towards "E" Brad Keselowski took advantage of Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin's own gas concerns and beat Jeff Gordon to the finish line to win his second Chase For the Sprint Cup race Sunday, the AAA 400, at Dover International Speedway. The win was his second of the NASCAR Chase and put him in the points lead heading into the fourth race of the series at Talladega. What was his strategy?

But, there's talk about possible toll increases on the Thruway. Denny Hamlin Wins at New Hampshire, Johnson Takes Point Lead in Chase
Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag for the fifth time this season winning NASCAR's Sylvania 300 at the Loudon, New Hampshire track Sunday. It was the third race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup series and although Hamlin crossed the finish line first Jimmie Johnson took over the overall points lead by virtue of his second place finish. Hamlin survived a major scare about two-thirds of the way through the race.

Although talking on your cell phone while driving is illegal many people still engage in this dangerous practice. Yesterday at Whitesboro High School and at VVS a victim of inattention due to cell phone use while driving, Jacy Good of Pennsylvania, spoke to students of the dangers first hand. According to WKTV Jacy and her parents were the victims of a cell phone distracted driver with devastating results.

Brad Keselowski Outduels Jimmie Johnson To Take Chase Opener
Brad Keselowski picked up his fourth win of the season and took over the points lead with a thrilling win in the Geico 400, the first race of NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup at Chicagoland Speedway . According to AP Keselowskii got ahead of Jimmie Johnson with about 35 laps remaining and led the final 26 laps in the 400-mile race. Johnson finished second with Kasey Kahne third. It was a rough start for Jeff Gordon.

Clint Bowyer Wins At Richmond, Chase For the Cup Begins
It was a big night for Clint Bowyer but it might have been an even bigger night for Jeff Gordon. Bowyer took the checkered flag in the Federated Auto parts 400 at Richmond International while Gordon beat out Kurt Busch to take the 12th and final spot in the 10 race Chase For the Sprint Cup NASCAR championship. It was an incredible finish for Gordon's number 24 car and an equally disappointing finish for Busch.

Texas Highway To Have 85 MPH Speed Limit
It's said that Texas has miles and miles of open road which is probably one of the reasons the Texas Transportation Commission has approved the 85 mph speed limit for a 41-mile-long toll road near the Interstate 35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio. The AP reports that while most highway speed limits top out at 75 MPH and a few in rural areas of Texas and Utah are set at 80 the new Texas limit would be the nations highest. Not everyone favors the change.
