Catch CNY’s Newest Movie Star In ‘The Greatest Showman’ This Christmas

The Greatest Showman is now in theaters nationwide and one of the stars is from Elmira, NY.

11 year-old Austyn Johnson stars in the movie as Caroline Barnum - the daughter of P.T. Barnum(played by Hugh Jackman), along with other big Hollywood names like Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, and Zendaya.

Johnson has been a dancer since she was young, and she's even won a national competition before entering the acting world 2 years ago.

She's also starred in Matilda on Broadway, and says she plans to continue acting into adulthood.

You can spot Johnson 37 seconds into the official trailer for 'The Greatest Showman.'

According to Johnson's IMDB.com page, she will also appear in the new Tom Hanks film 'The Post' as his daughter when it hits theaters on January 12.
