American Idol auditions continued in Salt Lake City, Utah where Casey Thrasher, a single father of two, CJ Harris, who lost his father and Paisley Van Patten, who lost her record deal when she was a teen due to alcoholim, got their golden tickets to Hollywood.

Casey Thrasher

Casey Thrasher is a single father of two who believes there's something more. So did Keith Urban who told him last year when they met at CMA fest 'I believe in you brother.' The judges believed too after his audition of Brooks and Dunn's 'Believe,' giving three yeses and a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Alex Preston

Alex Preston took a year off college to pursue his music career despite the skepticism of his family. His decision paid off after his original song wowed the judges and had Harry Connick Jr saying he 'pay to go see him.'

CJ Harris

CJ Harris may have had a rough childhood, but it didn't stop him from believing you 'can be anything you want to be.' After his performance of 'Soul Shine,' Keith believed Harris 'sings because he has to sing not because he wants to sing.' We can't wait to hear more.

Dexter Roberts

Southern boy Dexter Roberts, who's musical influenced are Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge and Florida Georgia Line impressed all three judges. Will we be hearing on country radio in the future?

Paisley Van Patten

Paisley Van Patten is getting a second chance after losing it all to alcoholism. She had a Nashville record deal when she was just 15 but threw it all away. Now, two years sober, she's working her way back; a story Keith Urban, who once went to rehab, related too.
