Parenting Advice To Give To Carrie Underwood

Congratulations to Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher who are proud parents of a new baby boy Isaiah Michael. As they begin their journey of becoming amazing parents, what advice can you provide for them?

Granted, I'm not a parent. I'm a parent to two cats and a dog. My advice probably isn't as valuable as this:

1) Remember that days will often seem slow, but years fly by.

I can imagine certain days will be extremely stressful, but it's all worth it in the end.

2) Trust Your Instincts

HowStuffWorks posts do your own research and trust your motherly/fatherly instincts.

If it feels wrong to let your baby cry, then pick them up. If you want to rock your baby to sleep and cuddle them while they sleep, then go ahead. If it feels right, then it usually is right."

Pretty solid advice right?

3) Don't Compare Yourself to Other Moms

Seriously, don't ever compare yourself to others. Remind yourself that everyone is different.
