Car/Pedestrian Accident Kills Utica Man

A car/pedestrian accident in Kirkland has claimed the life of a Utica man.  Mark Knapp died after being hit by a vehicle on Route 12B driven by Edward Gibbons. Beverly Clarey, of Clinton, was also struck by Gibbons. She is still in serious condition.

Police are continuing to investigate.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of all involved.  Such a tragic accident.
