'The X-Factor' top four will become the final three after tonight's elimination show. The last four acts performed two songs on last night's semi-finals; a song they choose for themselves and a song chosen by their mentors.

Carly Rose
Westchester New York teen sensation Carly Rose picked a song her dad has been playing since she was little; Elton John's 'Your Song.' She put her own spin on the song to prove she belongs in the finals.

For Carly's second song, she went with the infamous John Lennon's 'Imagine.' Carly proved she can do more than just sing, as she began and ended the song at the piano.  Simon didn't care for it, calling it 'fussy.'  He wanted her at the piano for the entire performance.

Tate Stevens
Tate Stevens opened the show by rocking the stage with Craig Morgan's 'Bonfire.' I didn't quite understand the piles of tires. Wouldn't hay bales worked better for a bonfire? Although Tate sounded great, as he usually does, he still didn't do anything with the song to make it his own, like Carly does.

Tate's mentor LA Reid chose Clay Walker's 'Fall' which he dedicated to his wife.  And again it was another solid performance, but it didn't sound much different than Walker's version.  Regardless of what happens, Tate will have a big career in country music.

Emblem Three
Emblem Three had a huge night, nailing both their performance.  The first song, 'Baby I Love Your Way' was dedicated to the boys parents.  Simon chose The Beatles 'Hey Jude' for the second song, which they put their spin on and had the audience on their feet.

Fifth Harmony
Simon's other group, Fifth Harmony, who almost went home last week, redeemed themselves with 'Anything Could Happen.' But their second song, 'Impossible' wasn't as impressive and may have hurt their chances of getting into the finals next week.

Auditions for The X-Factor 2013 are getting underway.  They’ll stop in five locations: Los Angeles, CA, Charleston, SC, New Orleans, LA, Long Island, NY, and Denver, CO. Dates have not been announced yet.  Or you can submit a two-minute a cappella audition video online at ‘The X-Factor’ website until June.

One more will be sent home tonight on Fox at 8.  Who do you think it’ll be?  My money is on Fifth Harmony.  They’ve been at the bottom of the leader board for weeks and their time has come.  Carly and Tate should be your top 2 once again.
