The 'X-Factor' Top 6 sang two songs to make it into the semi-finals.  The first was an unplugged version of a song chosen by their coaches.  The second was chosen by the fans.

Carly Rose Sonenclar
Move over Justin Bieber, there's a new teen sensation in town. Westchester New York teen Carly Rose again blew everyone away.  Demi Lomato even said she sang Justin Bieber's 'As Long As You Love Me' better than Bieber.  It may be the first time I've agreed with her.  Listen to her unplugged version.

Carly took on Beyonce for her second song. The viewers chose 'If I Were A Boy,' which was also done by Reba.  Those and big shoes to fill, but Carly did it once again.  Simon Cowell told Carly she 'had a phenomenal night.'  Indeed.

Tate Stevens
Tate Stevens, who is behind Carly on the leader board, went out of his comfort zone for Bon Jovi's 'Livin' On A Prayerr.'  It didn't work for Britney, Demi or Simon who told Tate he should stick to what he does best - country.  I didn't think it was bad.  I'm a Bon Jovi fan so I enjoyed his stripped down, unplugged version.

Tate did what the judges suggested and went back to his country roots for the viewers choice song.  He channeled his Idol, Garth Brooks and sang a beautiful version of 'If Tomorrow Never Comes.'  Welcome back Tate.

Emblem Three
Simon Cowell's boy band, Emblem Three showed their softer side with a stripped down version of Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are.'  Although most enjoyed the performance, including myself, Demi took a shot and called the boys 'a downgraded version of the Jonas Brothers five years ago.'  Ouch!

The viewers chose Rod Stewart's 'Forever Young' for Emblem Three's second song.  The girls in the audience loved it.  LA Reid couldn't give his critique above all the screams. Brtiney Spears called it a 'superstar performance.'  But Demi, had to criticize once again, complaining they didn't command the stage.

Watch all Top 6 performances and tune in tonight to see who goes home. The semi-finalist will be chosen at 8 on Fox.  Who do you think will be sent packing?  If it isn't Cece Frey, who I thought should have gone weeks ago, isn't eliminated I'll be shocked.  She has no one to hide behind now with 5 amazing acts left.  Diamond White or Fifth Harmony may be the other act to go, but I just don't know this week.

What I do know, Carly Rose and Tate Steven won't be going anywhere.  Those two will sail into the semi-finals and unless they lose their voice, they'll be competing for the $5 million prize in the finals as well.
