Carly Rose Makes ‘X-Factor’ Live Shows
The Yankees rain delay put a damper on ‘The X-Factor.’ The show started late and ended before the Top 16 were announced. We did learn the fate of Westchester teen Carly Rose Sonenclar.
Britney Spears was the first to let her team of six know who made the live shows where the viewers vote for their favorite. Carly Rose will move onto the live shows despite Britney telling her she’s not sure if Carly can handle the pressure. I’m guessing this was just for television and to keep the viewers guessing since she’s been on Broadway since the age of 7. Plus her audition had all four judges on their feet. She’s definitely a frontrunner to win the whole thing.

Diamond White, Beatrice Miller and Arin Ray round out Britney’s teen team. Rapper James Tanner and Reed Deming were sent home.

We also got to see the four LA Reid will take to the live shows from his team of six. Country boy Tate Stevens received good news, along with Jason Brock, David Correy and bad boy Vino Alan. Surprisingly, LA eliminated the talented, but over confident, Tara Simon. There’s a fine line between being confident and being cocky and Tara just came across as cocky. I’m excited to hear Tate, Jason and Vino. LA’s team of over 25′s is tough, but I don’t think they can touch Carly.

Demi Lovato, who has the young adults, choose only two of her six teammates to move on before the show ended. Country boy Willie Jones is onto the live shows along with Jennel Garcia. We’ll learn the fate of the rest of Demi’s team next Tuesday night when Fox will air the entire show at 8. But Yahoo is reporting CeCe Frey and Paige Thomas are the last two to move on, leaving Jillian Jensen, the one Demi connected the most with after her bullying story, going home along with rapper Nick Youngerman. I agree with Nick but Jillian should have gotten CeCe or Paige’s spot.

Simon Cowell will also narrow his groups down to four next Tuesday. Rumors are Emblem3 and the rap group that was thrown together called Lyric 145 move on. Dope Crisis is sent home leaving 3 groups to fill 2 spots. I hope Sister C moves on, but with Simon’s dislike of country music, who knows?

The Fox website says the remainder of THE X FACTOR schedule will remain intact, with the first live episodes airing Thursday, Nov. 1 at 8pm and Sunday, Nov. 4 at 8pm.
