Caleb Johnson Has Hilarious Mic Mishap and Rocks Carrie Underwood’s ‘Undo It’ – American Idol Top 6 Recap [VIDEOS]
The American Idol Top 6 performed twice, choosing a rock tune and a country song. Rocker Caleb Johnson had the moment of the night, recovering after a mic mishap and owning a Carrie Underwood hit. Alex Preston owned the country round with his unique spin on Willie Nelson's 'Always on My Mind.'
It was no surprise rocker Caleb Johnson owned the rock round with 'Sting Me,' even recovering from a mic mishap. The surprise was his killer performance of Carrie Underwood's 'Undo It,' putting his rock flare into it. Keith Urban was so impressed saying 'I can't wait to see what country song you do later.'

Caleb wasn't the only one to pick a Carrie song for the country round. Jena Irene put her own spin on 'So Small' but it didn't go over as well as Caleb's version. It was a strange rendition that took the soul out of the song. There's no doubt Jena can sing, but sometime it's best to stick with the original. Carrie was impressed though.

Alex Preston won the country round with Willie's 'Always on My Mind,' putting his Alex spin on it. I loved ever second of it and even watched it twice.
Y'all are always on my mind. Hope you liked it. I've experienced alot of heartbreak but I've also experienced love. that's what I put in it.

Since Sam Woolf just turned 18, it's hard for him to relate to Shania Twain's 'You're Still the One.' He did ok but was overshadowed by the other more dynamic performances from Caleb and Alex.

You'd think the only country guy left in the competition would own the country round. However, CJ Harris delivered his worst performance yet, singing Zac Brown Band's 'Whatever It Is' off key. I'll be shocked if he's not the one sent home tonight.

Oh how I wish Jessica Meuse would show some emotion, any emotion. She can sing but there's a disconnect between her vocals and her performance. I just don't feel it. Her version of Dolly Parton's 'Jolene' lacked the angst and desperation of the song. It's like she doesn't want to be there.

One more will be sent home tonight on Fox at 9 and my money is on CJ. I'm predicting a Jena/Caleb finale. What do you think?
