Boot camp is over and 'The X-Factor' judges now have their teams of eight.  Simon Cowell will be mentoring the girls that include Caitlin Koch of Buffalo who blew the judges away with her first audition.  Hopefully she'll go far.  It's always nice to see local talent make it big.

14 year old Rachel Crow will also get advice from Cowell.  She may only be 14 but she has a big personality and an even bigger voice.  She had the judges and the audience laughing during her first audition.

Simon Cowell's 8 girl team consists of Caitlin Koch, Rachel Crow, Tora Woolishin, Simone Battle, Drew Ryniewicz, Jazzlyn Little, Melanie Amaro and Tiah Tolliver

Nicole Scherzinger is in charge of mentoring the over 30 group.  Its no surprise Stacey Francis, who gave an audition that made Simon Cowell say was the best he'd ever seen, is moving on.  Lets hope Nicole can get her to tone it down a bit.  Although the woman can sing, she can go overboard sometimes.

Josh Krajcik also made it through to Nicole's team.  He gave the surprise audition of the season and proved you can't judge a book by its cover.  Josh may not look like a star but when he sings, he sure sounds like one.  I'm sure Nicole can give him a few fashion tips.

Nicole's team includes Stacey Frances, Josh Kracjic, Elaine Gibbs, Tiger Budbill, Leroy Bell, James Kenney, Christa Collins and Dexter Haygood

As for the boys, they'll have LA Reid as their mentor.  Chris Rene has been a standout since his first audition when he told the judges he just finished rehab.  He even took the risk of singing his own song, and it paid off.  His story will touch viewers this year, especially if he can stay clean.  And he can sing.

And remember the cute kid, Skyelor Anderson, whos music track cut out on him during his audition.  After a short pause, he continued acapella with Billy Currington's 'Must Be Doin' Something Right.'  I loved him from the get go and am happy he's made it through.

And who can forget Brian Bradley, the kid with the attitude.  I believe Simon Cowell said he was obnoxious, arrogant and argumentative, but he still managed to make it through.  Check out his first audition where he even gave Simon some lip.  Good thing LA Reid is Brian's mentor and not Simon.  Maybe he can teach the kid to lose the attitude.

The rest of LA Reid's team includes Brian, Chris, Sheylor, Brennin Hunt, Nick Voss, Tim Cifers, Phillip Lomax and Marcus Canty.

Paula Abdul has the hardest job.  She'll be mentoring the groups that include 2 squared, 4 sur, Stereo Hoggs, Brewer boys, IllusionConfussion and The Anser.  The judges also created 2 new groups from their favorite soloists.

Next week the contestants will visit the judges' homes.  'The X-Factor' returns Wednesday night at 8 on Fox.

Who are you rooting for?
