The upcoming season of The Voice is getting some exciting new country star power! In an Instagram post on Thursday (Feb. 7), superstar duo Brooks & Dunn officially announced that they will be joining Blake Shelton's team as Battle Round advisors.

"This just in...we're joining #TeamBlake as Battles Advisors this season on [The Voice]! We're coming for you, [Blake Shelton]!" the duo captioned their post about their brand-new role.

Additionally, Kelsea Ballerini has signed up for Battle Round advisor duty on the new season of the show as well, providing extra insight and guidance for the contestants belonging to Kelly Clarkson's team.

It isn't the first time Ballerini has graced the The Voice stage as a judge: In 2018, the singer served as a judge on the show's Comeback Stage, offering eliminated contestants a second chance at a spot in one of the show's teams. However, Ballerini told Extra that her return to the show to work alongside one of her own personal mentors will bring a whole new meaning to the gig.

"It's different though doing it with [Kelly] because I feel like I'm learning from what she's saying, so I feel like I'm being way more quiet, because I'm listening to everything she's saying," the country star explains.

Ballerini has been getting plenty of opportunities to learn from Clarkson lately. The two are currently on the road together for Clarkson's headlining Meaning of Life Tour, along with Voice alum Brynn Cartelli.

The show's other two coaches, Adam Levine and John Legend, have announced that their picks for Battle Round advisors will be Charlie Puth and Khalid, respectively. The Voice's new season is set to premiere on Feb. 25 at 8PM ET on NBC.
