Brett Young is about to set out on his first headlining tour and it includes a New York stop. One of the hottest new country artists, Brett is the featured act on CMT's annual tour. Here's everything you need to know about the show.

The ACM New Artist of the Year has been on a roll since releasing his debut album.  "Sleep Without You," "In Case You Didn't Know," "Like I Lived You," and, "Mercy" have all been #1 or #2 hits. The "CMT on Tour" is being billed as "Here Tonight," another song Brett has written for his next album.

The tour stops at the Palace Theater in Albany on December 6 at 7:30. Opening for Brett will be Rachel Wammack and Tyler Rich. Tickets range from $29.50 to $44.50. They go on sale for Brett's Fan Club and CMT members at 10 this morning. Public on sale begins Friday morning, August 24 at 10. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com

You can also catch Brett Young as part of Thomas Rhett's tour in Syracuse on September 21.  Although as an opener, he won't have as much stage time.
