Brett Eldredge is giving fans a special preview of his upcoming Christmas album, offering an early listen of his Meghan Trainor collaboration on "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Eldredge makes no secret of his fandom for Frank Sinatra, and he employs that side of his voice to great effect on the track, the first single from the album. His arrangement features a big band feel, with a full horn and string ensemble accompanying him and Trainor on the track, giving it a hip retro feel that's unlike anything any other younger artist in the genre would attempt. He and Trainor trade the witty lyrics with the kind of understated vocal chops that make them two of the most interesting singers in contemporary music.

Glow gives Eldredge the opportunity to pay musical homage to some of his non-country influences.

"I’ve been inspired for this record from a very young age. I dreamt of the day I could record all these classic songs that I’ve loved since I was a little kid," he says in a press release. "I recorded those classics in New York City and tried to give a tip of the hat to the ones that came before me — Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles — by adding that swing and that soul to the best of my ability."

Glow is set for release on Oct. 28. It is currently available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. Eldredge is on the road with Keith Urban as part of the superstar's Ripcord Tour through November.
