Brett Eldredge Gets Appendectomy For Christmas
December 23, 2010 6:30 AM Newcomer Brett Eldredge is on the mend after an emergency appendectomy. He’s been on the road supporting his new song “Raymond” when persistent stomach pains prompted him to go to a clinic. He says “I told them I have a stomache. The next thing I know, the doctor orders a CAT scan, and from there I took a cab to the ER and checked myself in in to go have my appendix out.” He was worried about the anesthesia because they put a tube down the vocal cords. Everything worked out well and Brett is at home recovering with his family for the holidays. He’ll be back on the road after the first of the year.
