Brad Paisley Recalls His First Number 1

Every successful recording artist has that one song that puts them over the top. For Toby Keith it was "How Do You Like Me Now". For Gretchen Wilson, "Redneck Woman". For Brad Paisley that life-changing song was a sweet ballad about a man who took in a boy,  a step-son, as his own.

Brad has racked up some 18 number one songs, fourteen of them in a row, but "He Didn't Have To Be" remains the one closest to his heart.
