Country newcomer Sarah Darling's time on ABC 'Rising Star,' has come to an end after she was eliminated in the first week of duels. Her version of Lee Ann Womack's 'I Hope You Dance,' wasn't enough to keep her in the competition. But Darling still came out ahead after Brad Paisley invited her to sing at the Opry with him this week.

Paisley, who was the only judge to vote yes, told Darling 'I thought what you did, you did really well. If you go home, I'm on the Opry this week, why don't you come and we'll welcome you home.'

Darling lost to Megan Tibbets who's performance of 'Summertime' earned 71% of the vote to Darling's 69%.

I doubt this will be the last we'll see or hear from Darling. She has a bright future ahead of her. Good luck Sarah!
