Boilermaker National Anthem Auditions This Saturday
It’s a great honor to sing the National Anthem at sporting events. This Saturday, May 12th, local performers will get a chance to audition for singing the “Star Spangled Banner” at this year’s Utica Boilermaker Road Race events.

“Seven special people will be selected by Boilermaker organizers to sing the National Anthem at select venues. The successful candidates will sing a complete and a’cappella version of the traditional National Anthem within one minute and thirty-five seconds.
Winners will sing at The Utica National Kid’s Run, Wal-Mart Walk, Bank of America Youth Olympics, Hall of Fame Induction, NBT Volunteer Party, Carbone 5K Race, and the Price Chopper Post Race Party.
The Boilermaker’s National Anthem Competition will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00noon at Mohawk Valley Community College’s Utica campus on the second floor of the Alumni Center Building. To schedule an audition call the Boilermaker Road Race at (315) 797.5838.”
