It may be November, but it's not too early to start thinking about the 2016 Boilermaker.

Boilermaker officials say registration for next year's race will begin in March.

Race Director Jim Stasaitis says they'll be sticking with the same multi-tiered registration process they used for this year's race. Stasaitis says the system worked well this year and is the best way to take care of all the race's loyal participants.

Registration for early access runners -- runners who finished this year's race in the allotted time limit -- will begin at noon on March 10th and close on March 18th

Runners who were granted a deferral last year can also register starting March 10th.  They'll  also have eight days to sign up.

Open registration will start at noon on March 19th and close once the cap is reached for each race.

Race cap numbers will remain the same as in 2015, 14,000 for the 15K and 4,500 for the 5K.

The 2016 Boilermaker will take place on Sunday, July 10th.
