Latin singer Julio and soulful powerhouse Terisa opened the show with Gloria Estefan's 'Conga.' A song that's fun and upbeat but hard to sing. Who really knows all the words to that song?  Coach Blake knew how tough it was 'that was a hard, hard song to sing and I'll be damned if you both didn't do awesome.  Even as I talk, I don't really know who won the battle.'  To decide, Blake went back to rehearsals 'to me Julio was having the hardest time.  Because of that and what I just saw, I think he put the most work into it.  I'm going to have to go with Julio.'

Don't be too sad for Terisa.  Cee Lo Green used one of his steals to have her on his team.

Blake paired his two indie artists, Lelia and Suzanna, for Florence & the Machine's 'Dog Days Are Over.'  I'd never heard the song before and wasn't a big fan, but I did enjoy the sound of Suzanna's voice, which reminded me of Stevie Nicks.  Blake had a touch time deciding which one to keep, 'every time a battle comes across this stage from my team it's like oh no, not these two, I don't want to see anyone go.  I think Suzanna won this battle.'

Adam looked like he hoped Blake would choose Lelia so he could steal Suzanna for his team.  Too bad Adam.

Speaking of steals, Blake did his best to take Joselyn from Christina Aguilera's team, but Adam Levine wanted her too. In the end, Joselyn went with Adam, much to Blake's dismay.

One of the highlights of the night came from team Cee Lo.  Nicholas David and Todd Kessler sang Hall & Oates' 'She's Gone.'  Both sounded great but Nicholas sounds so unique, Cee Lo couldn't send him home.  He's the perfect example of, 'you can't judge a book by it's cover.'  He doesn't have the superstar look but he's got the superstar voice.

The battle rounds continue on NBC tonight at 8. Previews show an epic country battle between two of Blake's country girls.
