Blaine Holcomb is making his country music debut, releasing 'Cowboys Do,' the first single of his self titled album.

The Hamilton, New York native has spent the last 3 and a half years finding his place Nashville, performing at honky tonks on Broadway while working on new music. "It's been a long process," says Holcomb. "There's a lot more that goes into it than I really knew, but I'm real happy with how it turned out."

Holcomb learns towards the traditional side of country music and says when he first heard his single 'Cowboys Do,' he knew he had to record it. "I fell in love with the song right away and was really fortunate to get my hands on it. I figured it was the perfect song to release first that represents my style."

The self titled album, that actually started as an EP, features 9 songs; 6 with a full band and 3 acoustic bonus tracks. Holcombs says even though the album took time to finish, he's proud of the end result. "I learned a lot and it was really fun getting to work with some of the best players in town."

'Cowboys Do' is available on all streaming platforms and you can get the album at Blaineholcomb.com.

Holcomb has sure come a long way since the Country Showdown, performing on a little stage in Sylvan Beach and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
