“Black Friday” Shoppers Out In Full Force

With some stores opening well before midnight and lines forming at many others “Black Friday” shoppers were out and anxious to claim bargains across the country including right here in Central New York. Bargains coupled with a slow economy had shoppers anxious to claim the great deals offered by retailers but one California woman took it a little bit too far
At least 10 Black Friday bargain-hunters suffered minor injuries at a crowded Wal-Mart store late Thursday after an angry woman used pepper spray during a confrontation about shoppers cutting in line.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:20 p.m. PT (7:20 p.m. ET) in California’s San Fernando Valley as shoppers looking for deals were let inside the store.
Shawn Lenske, a Los Angeles fire department spokesman, said the 10 injuries were due to “rapid crowd movement.”
I guess someone forgot to tell her, “Tis the season to be jolly”.
