Birds Prefer Red Cars

“It’s a bird, it’s a plane, (plop), no, it’s a bird”. That’s the old joke but when it comes to bird “business” our feathered friends apparently prefer red cars. A recent survey found that 18% of red cars were marked with bird droppings some 4% more than the next highest color, blue. Where does your car rank?
Red – 18 per cent
Blue – 14 per cent
Black – 11 per cent
White – 7 per cent
Grey/Silver – 3 per cent
Green – 1 per cent

As for clean up here are the findings.
- 17 percent of people with bird poop on their car clean it immediately
- 20 percent will let it sit there for a couple days
- 55 percent leave it alone until the next time their car gets washed
- 8 percent NEVER get it off or let someone else do it.
