Billy Currington has turned himself into police after being charged with making terroristic threats and abuse of an elderly person. He was indicted by a grand jury Wednesday.

Currington is accused of harassing and threatening Charles Harvey Ferrelle, a boat captain who passed his Tybee Island, Ga. property.  Ferrelle claims Currington was waiting in his boat when he returned and chased him with a camera.

Currington claims Ferrelle was driving so fast past his dock, his wake almost knocked an elderly man into the water.

Currington faces a thousand dollar fine and 1-5 years in prison if convicted on the charges.
