Biggest First Date Turn-Offs

OK ladies, you’ve been fixed up by your cousin with a guy who is “just perfect” for you. Or maybe that dating service you belong to has matched you up with a “sure thing”. But when you meet for a casual cup of coffee it takes you just 10 seconds to know its not going to work. Why? According to a new survey in Maxim magazine its probably because of his poor hygiene. What other major first date turn-offs are there?
- Bad hygiene — 37 percent
- “Pickup artist” tactics such as backhanded compliments — 21 percent
- Attention-seeking behavior — 19 percent
- Extreme shyness — 4 percent
- Off-color remarks — 9 percent
- Talk of his ex — 6 percent
- Arrogance — 4 percent
