Big Frog 104’s Texaco Country Showdown Finals Tonight

The Texaco Country Showdown started July 6th at Sylvan Beach and now 6 weeks later the preliminary round winners face off with the winner going to the state finals.  The Showdown is the nation's largest country music talent search and how many of today's stars got their start.Tonight's contestants are Eddie Arcuri of Cantebury Hill from Rome, Blaine Holcomb of Hamilton and Corrine Kopytowski of Rome.  Tonight's competition begins at 6 on the Sylvan Beach band stand.  The winner will advance to the state finals October 15 in Jamestown.  Following the Showdown it's Big Frog's Country Showcase

with the Fulton Chain Gang playing from 7 to 9.  It's all free in beautiful Sylvan Beach.
