Lena Dorsagno is a six year old Sauquoit girl who is battling cancer.  She was first diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in March 2010 and relapsed this past September. Lena and her mother, Brandi Boyer have been traveling back and forth to a Syracuse hospital and will be heading to another hospital in New York City for more treatment. The travel expenses have left the family with just enough money to get breakfast each morning.  Family and friends have stepped in but more help is needed. A benefit is being held Saturday December 8th at the Outreach Center in Utica.  There will be games, prizes, a clown and even a visit from Santa Claus.

Since today is 'Giving Tuesday,' we should pledge to help Lena and her family for the holidays.  A Facebook page has been set up to keep everyone updated on Lena's status.  There are also details on the benefit and ways you can help.
