ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease is one of the most debilitating illnesses a person can be diagnosed with. This disease currently is incurable, and devastates not only the person impacted, but their family as well. You may remember the world-famous "Ice Bucket Challenge" that raised awareness and funds for treatment research. Well, one Washington Mills woman is battling the disease and needs your help.

A benefit is being held for Deb Bullis Lamoree on Saturday, August 6, 2016 to help raise funds for her medical costs. Not only will the benefit help raise funds, but hopefully lift her spirits as well. There is no real known cause yet when it comes to ALS, but this sickness has already taken 10 members of Deb's family. Your continued support of ALS research and attendance at this event will hopefully help to eradicate this disease.

The event is being held at,

Tilly's Clover
2376 Main Street
Clayville NY 13322

Tickets for the event are $15 per person, and $25 per couple. There will be a cash bar, food, 50/50 raffles, music and more. Even if you don't know Deb personally, maybe you have a family member who has been impacted by this disease, and want to contribute to the comfort of another. To contribute items to the silent auction, or to get any additional information you can call (315) 731-0631 or you can send an email to tcinow0112@gmail.com. At the very least, please keep Deb and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Donations are also being accepted on Deb's 'GoFundMe' page.
