Ben Stiller Spotted in Upstate, New York: Is He Making a Movie?

Actor Ben Stiller, was recently seen in the Upstate, New York town of Dannemora. Could he be making a movie about the infamous escape from the Clinton Correctional Facility?

We don't have any guarantees of a movie being filmed there, but last year, an entertainment studio told TMZ that they were thinking about producing a made for TV movie about David Sweat and Richard Matt's prison break.

Stiller was seen looking at the manhole Sweat and Matt used to escaped, according to WPTZ. He also stopped by King's Wok Buffett in Malone, where he took time to take pictures with adoring fans.

Ironically, this is the same restaurant accomplice Joyce Mitchell ate at before the great escape in 2015.

If Stiller makes a 'Shawshank Redemption' type movie, who should play Sweat and Matt? One local restaurant owner told WPTZ, "Woody Harrelson is David Sweat with Billy Bob Thornton cast as Richard Matt."
