Ben Affleck is an acclaimed actor and director but it seems that much of his success is dependent on whether or not he sports facial hair in his film roles. Let’s take a look at his bearded/clean shaven scorecard.
According to Vulture.com Ben’s most critically acclaimed roles have been in “Chasing Amy”, “Gone, Baby Gone”, “This Town” and, currently, “Argo”. In each case facial hair has been involved. Among his lesser successes “Armageddon”, “Gigli” and “Surviving Christmas” have all been clean shaven performances.
