Would you like to drink a cold beer or sip from a glass of wine while watching a movie at the theater?  It could happen in Central New York.

When Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled his new state budget Tuesday night, he included a proposal for theaters to be allowed to sell beer and wine.  The Times Union reports that under the proposal, movie goers could only buy one alcoholic beverage at a time.  Also, the booze could only be sold at movies rated PG 13 or higher.

Alcoholic beverages are already allowed at theaters in the state that have restaurants and tables at theater seats.  Many other states also allow beer and wine to be sold in their movie theaters.
