Bavarian Festival This Weekend

One of the signature Central New York summer events, The Utica Maennerchor Bavarian Festival, kicked off last night and continues through the weekend. Great food–including many German favorites–music and drink–again, including many German favorites– make this annual festival behind the club on Flanagan Road in Marcy a favorite family fun event. In case you have never been to it here is a little primer on how to respond to the “Ein Prosit” (Good health, cheers) toast which is offered numerous times throughout the day and night.
The festival continues today from 5-11PM and Sunday noon-6PM. Admission is $5 for adults with under 12′s free.
