Greg Splashin' McShea

Greg has a strong connection to the Mohawk Valley, having attended Utica schools and graduating from Utica College with a B.S. Degree in Public Relations. He has hosted a number of radio programs and his voice has been heard on the airwaves through the years. In addition to radio broadcasting, Greg is a well-known name in the local advertising community and was awarded the Mohawk Valley Advertising Club’s “Ad Person of the Year” in 1994. Before he became "Splash," Greg McShea was a familiar voice to Central New York radio listeners having been a radio broadcaster for over two decades. A Utica area native, Greg knows and loves the community he’s always called home.

Neil Diamond Inspired By BostonTo Write New Song [VIDEO]

My wife and I were at Fenway Park this past Saturday for that historic tribute to Boston after the Boston Marathon bombings last week. One highlight of the day was Neil Diamond performing the Boston Red Sox rally song, "Sweet Caroline" live in the middle of the 8th inning. Diamond was so moved by events, he's writing a new song.

We Witnessed An Epic Tribute At Fenway Park [VIDEO]

This past Saturday, the Boston Red Sox returned home to play their first game at Fenway Park after last week's Boston Marathon bombings. And, my wife and I were there to witness an epic tribute on the field. The Public Address announcer introduced and paid tribute to first responders, Boston Marathon volunteers, local heroes who saved lives, members of police agencies and the military and brought them on the field for a very emotional moment. All those public officials that we saw on TV last week with news updates...the Boston Chief of Police, Colonel Tim Alben, head of the Massachusetts State Police, the FBI agent heading the case, and Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick took to the field for a resounding tearful standing ovation. Each of us were given a B-Strong poster, which we all waved throughout the game, and an incredible huge American Flag covered "The Green Monster" left field wall.
