Greg McShea

I've got a long connection to the Mohawk Valley, having attended Utica schools and graduating from Utica College with a B.S. Degree in Public Relations. I've hosted a number of radio programs, and my voice has been heard on the local airwaves through the years. When I'm not broadcasting, I enjoy reading science publications and sci-fi novels, traveling to some favorite vacation spots, and anything "Star Trek". I am a native of the Utica area and have many friends and family members in the area.

Every year, my daughter Lauren travels down to the Big Apple during this time of year and shares with me some great photos.

We used to watch those holiday shows every year, commercials and all. One year, when I recorded "A Charlie Brown Christmas" off the TV network, there was a very cute TV commercial for McDonald's.

Get Your Car Ready For Winter

When it comes to getting my car ready for winter, I had a good teacher...my father. He always reminded me to get those snow tires on, have a good snow brush, buy a set of jumper cables for the trunk, and keep a shovel in that trunk as well.
