US Soccer Team Advances to Finals of the Women’s World Cup [VIDEO]
Abby Wambach scored the go-ahead goal, and the United States woman's soccer team defeated France on Wednesday, 3-1, clinching a spot in the finals of the Woman's World Cup.
After the US took an early 1-0 lead, France began dominating the game's possession, finally scoring an equalizer in the 55th minute. But Les Blues weren't able to further capitalize on what ended up being a 25-11 shots-on-goal advantage.

Father and Son Take Photos at the First and Last Space Shuttle Launch [PHOTO]
It's the photo they waited 30 years to take (click to enlarge).
Chris Bray and his father attended the first space shuttle launch back in 1981 -- and the last, just a few weeks ago. Bray posted a link to the photo on Reddit on Monday and the reaction was immediate -- almost 600 comments have been left thus far, and various media outlets have picked up the story.

‘Evel Dick’ Exits ‘Big Brother’ House
CBS announced today that Dick Donato, aka Evel Dick, has left the Big Brother 2011 house. According to Entertainment Weekly, here's what CBS had to say: ”Due to a personal matter, Big Brother houseguest Dick Donato had to leave the game unexpectedly on Thursday, His departure will be addressed on the episode to be broadcast on Wednesday, July 13.”
