A 150 foot wide asteroid will pass the Earth in 10 days, but according to experts it will not impact the planet. The asteroid will be around 17,200 miles from our planet on this pass, closer than a ring of satellites that are in geosynchronous orbit. NASA has said the asteroid is not on a collision course with our planet, but it is the largest asteroid to ever come this close to Earth. The asteroid, DA 14, will be at it's closest proximity to Earth for the next 30 years. Read more on it's future here.
