As Fresh as it Comes Open Farm Day in Madison County

It doesn't get any fresher than going straight to the farm. And with Cornell Cooperative Extension's annual Open Farm Day, you can get fresh at 33 Madison County Farms.

The 9th Annual Open Farm Day is July 29. You can visit any of the 33 farms from 8 to 4. In addition to offering the freshest produce and products, many of the farms will offer tours, rides and a chance to meet and interact with the animals.

To participate you just need to grab a passport from a Price Chopper store. If you visit 3 or more farms you get an insulated shopping tote. Passports will be available to download at Open Farm Day's website. You can also check out all 33 farms with their interactive map.
